Green Glue noise-proofing compound is a fast, easy-to-use, and highly effective sound-damping compound. Proven to reduce up to 90 per cent of noise transmission when used between two layers of drywall or other similar building materials. For rapid application, use a bulk gun. Independent lab tests prove that just one layer of this soundproofing compound between two layers of drywall or other similar building material dissipates up to 90 per cent of noise. Unlike competitive soundproofing products, Green Glue Noise Proofing Compound cuts out low-frequency noises commonly produced by home entertainment and theatre systems. Also available as individual 28-oz tubes and 12 tube packs. Green Glue is a viscoelastic noise-proofing compound and is not recommended for use as a permanent adhesive.
