Mass Loaded Vinyl with a STC rating of 26 that aides in resisting sound waves and reducing airborne noise. The heavy duty .100" thick noise barrier material is an extremely flexible product that is ideal for applying directly to the noise source or to the housing covering the noise supply.
This material is resistant to oils, acids, alkalis, and tough environmental conditions. It will not shrink, rot, or cause metal corrosion. Our Mass Loaded Vinyl can accompany acoustical foams, glass fiber, ceramic fiber, or mineral wool insulation to create a lightweight and valuable combination with high transmission reduction over a wide frequency range.
