Furring Channel is a hat-shaped framing component used to “furr” out ceilings and walls. After mounting the sound isolation clips on the wall or ceiling the furring channel is simply clipped in. Furring channels come with a wide knurled face for ease of fixing drywall. Stocked in standard lengths of 10', and can be special ordered in 12'.
