The ResilMount A237R is a patented, high-performance sound isolation clip engineered for direct fastening of furring channels in acoustic wall and ceiling assemblies. Its patented thermoplastic rubber element outperforms standard rubber isolators, which tend to compress permanently and lose damping performance under load over time.
The A237R's unique sound cell design minimizes contact surface area with the structure, helping absorb and break up airborne sound right at the transfer point. It's UL approved in 109 wall and ceiling assemblies and ships with a pre-attached firewasher for faster installation — a strong choice for multi-family residential, commercial, and home theater projects where fire-rated sound control is required.
